An interesting game for Homenetmen (19-1) which played road game in Zouk against Louaize (10-10). Homenetmen had an easy win 96-62. Homenetmen players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international swingman Fadi El-Khatib (198-79) scored 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five Homenetmen players scored in double figures. International guard Geron Johnson (190-92, college: Memphis) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American Travis McKie (201-92, college: Wake Forest, agency: Diamond Sports) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Homenetmen will play against Byblos at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Louaize will play against Sagesse and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
