We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Ninane (10-15) was crushed at home by tenth ranked Melsele (10-15) 84-63 on Friday. The game without a history. Melsele led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Melsele outrebounded Ninane 39-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Dutch power forward Patrick Hilliman (206-82, college: High Point) scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Ivan Perez (185-90) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Four Melsele players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Francois Lhoest (196-85) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Romain Fassotte (190-91) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Melsele moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Ninane. Melsele will have a break next round.
