Regular Season Round 24: Roche - COB Calais 81-66

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Roche as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Roche defeated 6th ranked COB Calais in La Roche 81-66. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 16-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-66. Roche made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 COB Calais turnovers. It was a good game for guard Johana Tayeau (173-89) who led her team to a victory with 27 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Roche (21-3) have an impressive six-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. COB Calais at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Just two games before the end of Regular Season and it may be the most important game of the season next round when COB Calais faces Roannais trying to get back on the winning streak. Roche will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Toulouse on the road.
