Everything went according to plan in Ostrow Wlkp. where third ranked BM Slam Stal (19-8) beat 13th ranked Asseco (9-18) 80-62. 25 personal fouls committed by Asseco helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds. American point guard Aaron Johnson (173-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four BM Slam Stal players scored in double figures. Swingman Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz (196-95) answered with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Filip Put (201-93) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Asseco. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for BM Slam Stal. They maintain third place with 19-8 record having just two points less than leader Stelmet ZG. Asseco lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. BM Slam Stal's next round opponent will be Start (#14) in Lublin which should be an easy win for them. Asseco will play at home against Rosa and hope to win that game.
