Very expected game when 13th ranked CREF Hola (7-19) lost to ninth ranked Al-Qazeres (11-15) in Caceres 64-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points. Al-Qazeres dominated on the defensive end, holding CREF Hola to just 7 points in third quarter. American guard Ameryst Alston (175-93, college: Ohio St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). The other American import power forward Julie Forster (185-91, college: Albany) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds for the winners.
