There was no surprise when 10th ranked San Salvatore (8-16) was edged at home by third ranked Orvieto (17-6) 85-82 on Saturday. Orvieto made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Valentina Bonasia (164-94) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Greta Brunelli (176-90) who added 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Cinzia Arioli (178-84, agency: LBM Management) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and Francesca Russo (178-96) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds.
