An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Larochette. Third ranked Arantia faced 4th placed Bascharage. Host Arantia (7-20) defeated guests from Kaerjeng (2-23) 93-83. Arantia made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The game was also dominated by American players. Guard Duke Mondy (193-90, college: Oakland) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and swingman Ladarius Tabb (196, college: Alabama A&M) accounted for 28 points and 11 rebounds. Four Arantia players scored in double figures. Guard Phillip Leonard (188-93, college: Mercer) came up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Emilio Parks (198-92, college: Johnson C. Smith) added 23 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Bascharage in the defeat. Arantia maintains third place in League with 7-20 record having sixteen points less than leader Amicale. Bascharage at the other side keeps the fourth position with 23 games lost. Arantia's next round opponent will be league's leader Basket Esch on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bascharage will play against Etzella and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
