Regular Season Round 25: Gravelines - Monaco 72-92

Leader Monaco delivered the twenty second victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (14-11) 92-72. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gravelines-Dunkerque. The game without a history. Monaco led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Gravelines-Dunkerque's 30. Monaco had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bosnian guard Zack Wright (191-85, college: Central Mo.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St., agency: BeoBasket) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists for the winners. American forward Richard Solomon (208-92, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Gravelines-Dunkerque. Five Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Monaco have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-3 record. Gravelines-Dunkerque at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Monaco will play against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
