Five Ostioneros de Guaymas and four Pioneros Los Mochis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ostioneros de Guaymas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Obregon. Loser Pioneros Los Mochis stay at the bottom position with five games lost. Ostioneros de Guaymas will face higher ranked Garra Canera de Navolato (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pioneros Los Mochis will play against the league's second-placed Tijuana Zonkeys (#2) and hope to win that game.
