Regular Season Round 51: Ryukyu GK - Nagoya DD 83-69

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Diamond Dolphins (23-26) against fourth ranked Ryukyu GK (24-25) on Sunday night. Visiting Diamond Dolphins were defeated by Ryukyu GK in Okinawa 83-69. The best player for the winners was international guard Ryuichi Kishimoto (176-90) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Lamont Hamilton (208-84, college: St.John's) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and international power forward Tenketsu Harimoto (198-92) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ryukyu GK moved-up to second place, which they share with Hitachi SR. Diamond Dolphins at the other side keep the third position with 26 games lost. Ryukyu GK's next round opponent will be Shiga L-Stars (#6) on the road.
