Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Andorra (13-12) defeated at home 12th ranked Movil Estudiantes (10-16) 87-83. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Movil Estudiantes was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 31-22 charge of Andorra, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for Georgian Beka Burjanadze (201-94) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Czech swingman David Jelinek (195-90, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Jaime Fernandez (186-93) answered with 17 points and 4 steals and Bosnian-Croatian center Goran Suton (208-85, college: Michigan St.) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Movil Estudiantes. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Andorra maintains eighth place with 13-12 record. Movil Estudiantes at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Andorra's next round opponent will be league's leader CB Canarias in Tenerife and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
