Regular Season Round 52: Shinshu BW - Bambitious Nara 65-91

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Bambitious Nara's (20-30) road victory over 6th ranked Shinshu BW (12-39) 91-65 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Bambitious Nara especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Junpei Honda (190-88) who helped to win the game recording 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Higuchi Mato (177-92) who added 15 points during the contest. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side swingman Takei Hiroaki (182-91) responded with 13 points and American forward Xavier Ford (201-93, college: Buffalo) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Bambitious Nara have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 20-30 record. Shinshu BW lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 39 games lost. Bambitious Nara will face league's second-placed Toyotsu FE in Nagoya in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Shinshu BW will play on the road against Tokyo Z (#3) and hope to win that game.
