Regular Season Round 27: Treviso Basket - Recanati 75-62

Very predictable result when second ranked Treviso Basket (19-8) won against at home 16th ranked Recanati (7-20) 75-62 on Sunday. Treviso Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Recanati's 28. It was a good game for point guard Davide Moretti (188-98) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. The former international guard Matteo Fantinelli (195-93, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Swedish-American Erik Rush (196-88, college: Montana St.) answered with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Attilio Pierini (201-81) added 13 points in the effort for Recanati. Recanati's coach Giancarlo Sacco rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Treviso Basket maintains second place in A2 with 19-8 record having just two points less than leader Angelico Biella. Loser Recanati keeps the sixteenth position with 20 games lost. Treviso Basket will face Verona (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Recanati will play against F.Kontatto BO (#5) and hope to win that game.
