There was a surprise result when eighth ranked BA CoE (1-2) won against at home second-ranked Kilsyth Cobras (1-1) 81-77 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was swingman Tom Fullarton (200-99) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Kyle Zunic (184-99) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four BA CoE players scored in double figures. Forward Chris Patton (208-91, college: Cal-Riverside) produced 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Nelson Kirksey (190-89, college: UMKC) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. BA CoE left bottom position moving up to fourth place in League. Loser Kilsyth Cobras dropped to the third position with one game lost. BA CoE will have a break next round. Kilsyth Cobras will play at home against Ballarat Miners and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
