Very predictable result when tenth ranked Teramo (12-13) defeated at home 16th ranked Maddaloni (4-23) 81-66 on Sunday. It was a great evening for swingman Andrea LaGioia (193-86, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Francesco Papa (196-95) helped adding 11 points and 12 rebounds. Teramo's coach Piero Bianchi used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was point guard Giangiacomo De-Vincenzo (180-94) with 23 points and point guard Fabio Sansone (172-96) scored 14 points. Newly promoted Teramo maintains tenth place in B with 12-13 record. Loser Maddaloni keeps the sixteenth position with 23 games lost. Teramo will face higher ranked Basket Barcellona (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maddaloni will play against Scauri (#11) and hope to win that game.
