There was no surprise when 12th ranked Bondi Ferrara (11-16) lost at home to ninth ranked Udine APU (13-14) 69-65 on Sunday. It was a good game for Nigerian-American swingman Stan Okoye (198-91, college: VMI) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Estonian guard Rain Veideman (192-91) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Laurence Bowers (203-90, college: Missouri) answered with 29 points and 4 blocks and the other American import Terrence Roderick (196-88, college: UAB) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Bondi Ferrara. Newly promoted Udine APU maintains ninth place in A2 with 13-14 record. Loser Bondi Ferrara keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Udine APU will face Jesi (#10) at home in the next round. Bondi Ferrara will play against Alma Trieste and hope to win that game.
