There was a minor upset when 14th ranked Isernia (8-18) was defeated at home by sixteenth ranked Monteroni (5-22) 68-55 on Sunday. Isernia was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for power forward Simone Zanotti (208-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Federico Ingrosso (187-94) helped adding 16 points. The best for the losing side was naturalized Albanian power forward Klaudio Patani (197-96) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and guard Luca Lenti-Ceo (192-96) scored 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Monteroni maintains sixteenth place in B with 5-22 record, which they share with Iseo. Loser Isernia keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Monteroni will face higher ranked Senigallia (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
