Wolfenbuettel outscored Osnabruck on the road to force the decider. Osnabruck SC was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 17-8 charge of Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Estonian point guard Birgit Piibur (162-94) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Alli Gloyd (185-92, college: Arizona) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Nigerian guard Promise Amukamara (173-93, college: Arizona St.) produced 20 points and point guard Ramona Tews (172-92) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Osnabruck SC's coach Mario Zurkowski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
