The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-ranked Kapshagay's (12-9) home loss to first ranked Tobol (17-4) 59-94 on Monday. Tobol dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Kapshagay's 32. Tobol forced 24 Kapshagay turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Kapshagay's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Anton Bykov (200-89) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) and forward Vasiliy Petrashinets (198-89) who added 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Tobol players scored in double figures. Andrey Moroi responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Daniil Seleznev (187-90) scored 12 points. Tobol have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-4 record. Kapshagay lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with nine games lost.
