Regular Season Round 25: Hapoel Eilat - Maccabi Ashdod 90-69

Fourth ranked Hapoel Eilat (15-10) crushed at home 11th ranked Maccabi Ashdod (9-16) by 21 points 90-69, which is the biggest margin this round on Monday night. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Hapoel Eilat's pressure prevailed and they won that period 31-16 extending their advantage to 21 points. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Hapoel Eilat outrebounded Maccabi Ashdod 46-24 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Maccabi Ashdod was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Reginald Buckner (206-91, college: Mississippi) stepped up and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners and the former international point guard Afik Nissim (185-81) chipped in 23 points.
