Regular Season Round 24: Valga - Tarvas 100-70

The game between sixth ranked Valga (12-20) and 8th ranked BC Rakvere (9-23) in Valga on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. Valga outscored guests from Rakvere 100-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Rakvere. The game was mostly controlled by Valga. BC Rakvere was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valga dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to BC Rakvere's 28. Guard Mario Paiste (186-89) replied with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Siim-Markus Post (183-97) added 15 points in the effort for BC Rakvere. Five Valga and four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. BC Rakvere's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Valga have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 12-20 record, which they share with TLU/Kalev. Loser BC Rakvere keeps the eighth place with 23 games lost.
