The game between Top Four teams took place in Alma-Ata. Third ranked host Almat.Legion (8-13) smashed second-ranked Kapshagay (12-9) 77-56. The game was mostly controlled by Almat.Legion. Kapshagay was better in fourth quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Almat.Legion looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Russian swingman Andrey Litvinenko (195-97) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Ruslan Aitkali (195-97) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Almat.Legion's coach Nikolaj Tanaseychuk felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Valentin Rogatkin (196-88) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman Konstantin Dvirniy (192-88) scored 16 points. Almat.Legion maintains third position with 8-13 record having nine points less than leader Bars. Kapshagay lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with nine games lost.
