The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Frayles de Guasave (5-2) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (5-2) 97-87. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Frayles de Guasave. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Rayos de Hermosillo looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Frayles de Guasave's players.
