Regular Season Round 25: Sigal Prishtina - Peja 79-73

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Prishtina. First ranked Sigal Prishtina faced 3rd placed Peja. Host Sigal Prishtina (20-3) defeated guests from Peje (17-4) 79-73. The hosts were already 13 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 21-14 Peja's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 79-73 at the end of the game. Sigal Prishtina dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Peja's 26. Sigal Prishtina forced 19 Peja turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) contributed with 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Sigal Prishtina's coach Audrius Prakuraitis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international forward Alban Veseli (202-90) answered with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) added 14 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Peja. Sigal Prishtina have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-3 record. Peja at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Sigal Prishtina will play against Xhebrailat (#5) in Therande in the next round. Peja will play at home against Rahoveci and hopes to get back on the winning track.
