Regular Season Round 9: Obregon - Durango 98-95

A very interesting game took place in Ciudad Obregon. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Aguilas Doradas de Durango (2-7) to fifth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (5-3) 98-95 on Wednesday evening. It was a good game for American forward Michael Glover (203-87, college: Iona) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Glen Rice-Jr (198-91, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Martin Zamarco answered with 29 points and American power forward Dominique Keller (205-88, college: Illinois) added 18 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Aguilas Doradas de Durango. Five Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and four Aguilas Doradas de Durango players scored in double figures. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon moved-up to third place, which they share with Guasave and Navolato. Aguilas Doradas de Durango lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's next round opponent will be league's leader Tijuana Zonkeys on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aguilas Doradas de Durango will play against Frayles de Guasave (#3) and hope to win that game.
