Regular Season Round 26: Anwil - Stelmet ZG 81-68

Round 26 in PLK means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Wloclawek where host Anwil (21-7) beat league's leader Stelmet (21-7) 81-68 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Stelmet. It was a key game for the top position in the league. 26 personal fouls committed by Stelmet helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Josip Sobin (203-89, agency: Alti Sport) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Toney McCray (196-89, college: Nebraska, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. The former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) produced 15 points and 9 assists and American point guard James Florence (185-88, college: Mercer, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 17 points respectively for the guests.
