No shocking result in a game when third ranked Leiden (18-9) beat at home 6th ranked Amsterdam (9-18) 73-68 on Thursday. Amsterdam was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of Leiden, which allowed them to win the game. Leiden outrebounded Amsterdam 48-33 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Leiden made 9 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Daviyon Draper (201-94, college: FIU) who led the winners and scored 23 points. International forward Mohamed Kherrazi (200-90) accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side.
