Amsterdam was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of Leiden, which allowed them to win the game. Leiden outrebounded Amsterdam 48-33 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Leiden made 9 blocks.
