Very expected game when 6th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (13-21) was crushed at home by second ranked Fukuoka Rizing (30-4) 89-70 on Friday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fukuoka Rizing made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. They maintain second place with 30-4 record behind leader Kanazawa Sam. Tokyo Cinq R. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 21 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will face Saitama Broncos (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tokyo Cinq R.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Tokyo HT.
