Regular Season Round 27: St Chamond - Bourg 66-77

ProB top team - JL Bourg (19-8) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventeenth ranked Saint Chamond (10-17) 77-66. Saint Chamond was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 42-28 second half run of JL Bourg. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. JL Bourg's coach Savo Vucevic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard BA Walker (184-84, college: VCU, agency: Inception Sports) answered with 12 points and 6 assists and naturalized Ivorian swingman Guy-Landry Edi (202-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Promotex) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Saint Chamond. JL Bourg maintains first place with 19-8 record. Saint Chamond lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. JL Bourg's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked JA Vichy (#18) at home which should be an easy win for them. Saint Chamond will play against SPO Rouen and hope to win that game.
