TSV 1880 Wasserburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TSV 1880 Wasserburg outrebounded ChemCats Chemnitz 33-19 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Swedish guard Nathalie Fontaine (188-93, college: Ball St., agency: ProDep Management) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Sheylani Peddy (170-88, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 12 points and 9 assists. Five TSV 1880 Wasserburg players scored in double figures. American guard Maegan Conwright (173-92, college: Florida St.) produced 18 points and 4 assists and her fellow American import forward Merritt Hempe (190-94, college: Georgia) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
