Regular Season Round 32: Orchies - CFBB 88-68

Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 32th consecutive match to fifth ranked Orchesien BC (19-13) 88-68 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-68. Orchesien BC dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 20. They outrebounded CFBB 35-20 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Orchesien BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by Anthony Racine (190-94) who scored that evening 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Mali swingman Sourata Cisse (196-86) supported him with 18 points. Even 17 points by power forward Nicolas Dorez (199-99) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Forward Ivan Fevrier (203-99) added 15 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Orchesien BC have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with GET Vosges. Loser CFBB still closes the standings. Orchesien BC will meet Gries/Oberhoffen (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Lorient (#14) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
