Leader Rayos de Hermosillo delivered the ninth victory. This time they beat 10th ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (1-9) 89-73. His fellow American import guard Anthlon Bell (190-93, college: Arkansas) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. American forward Cameron Forte (201-93, college: Portland St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and Manuel Hernandez added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Pioneros Los Mochis. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rayos de Hermosillo (9-1) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place.
