No shocking result in a game in Hiroshima where second ranked Dragonflies (40-11) smashed 6th ranked Kagoshima (7-44) 112-81 on Saturday. Dragonflies dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Kagoshima's 52. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona, agency: Babcock Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Senegalese center Aziz NDiaye (213-88, college: Washington, agency: Babcock Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Forward Ryuichiro Nakazono (190-78) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian forward Bikramjit Gill (201-92, college: Ball St.) added 17 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies maintains second place with 40-11 record having just two point less than leader Shimane SM. Loser Kagoshima keeps the sixth position with 44 games lost. Dragonflies will face again Kagoshima (#6) in Renova in the next round.
