Second Stage Round 12: Norrort - KFUM Blackeberg 88-82

There was no surprise when 7th ranked KFUM Blackeberg (4-9) was defeated on the road by second ranked Taby Basket (12-3) 88-82 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-14. But KFUM Blackeberg won second period 25-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Taby Basket forced 19 KFUM Blackeberg turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was center Marcus Friman (203-95) who scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Kasper Adolfsson (193-95) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Taby Basket's coach Anders Lemmeke allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Brayan Angulo (-94) who recorded 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard Gino Panghulan (175-90) added 13 points and 9 assists respectively. Five Taby Basket and four KFUM Blackeberg players scored in double figures. Taby Basket keeps a position of BEHN forts leader. KFUM Blackeberg lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost.
