Regular Season Round 32: St Vallier - GET Vosges 71-73

Important game to mention about took place in Saint Vallier. Fourth ranked GET Vosges (19-13) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked Saint Vallier (16-16) 73-71 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Saint Vallier. Saint Vallier trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 28-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 71-73 at the end of the game. GET Vosges forced 19 Saint Vallier turnovers. Forward Masse Doumbe (203-87, college: Kaiser) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 9 rebounds. Loic Gigant (196-90) contributed with 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. GET Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Power forward Sade Aded-Hussein (208-93) replied with 26 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Steffon Bradford (198-77, college: Nebraska) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Saint Vallier. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. GET Vosges maintains fourth position with 19-13 record, which they share with Orchies. Loser Saint Vallier dropped to the tenth place with 16 games lost. GET Vosges will face Union Rennes (#17) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Saint Vallier will play against the league's second-placed Quimper UJAP (#2) and hope to win that game.
