Regular Season Round 53: Toyotsu FE - Bambitious Nara 96-86

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nagoya. Second ranked Toyotsu FE faced 4th placed Bambitious Nara. Host Toyotsu FE (36-15) defeated guests from Nara (20-31) 96-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bambitious Nara. Nigerian center Solomon Alabi (216-88, college: Florida St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Rodney Carney (201-84, college: Memphis) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) came up with 23 points and 9 rebounds and forward Junpei Honda (190-88) added 11 points respectively for Bambitious Nara in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyotsu FE maintains second place with 36-15 record behind leader Shimane SM. Bambitious Nara at the other side keeps the fourth position with 31 games lost. Toyotsu FE's next round opponent will be again Bambitious Nara (#4) at home.
