The game in Tokyo was also quite interesting. Second ranked Fukuoka Rizing (30-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (13-21). Fukuoka Rizing defeated Tokyo Cinq R. 97-86 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. American center Brian Butch (211-84, college: Wisconsin) helped adding 12 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side swingman Mitsuhiro Kamezaki (189-86) responded with 26 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Josiah Heath (205-93, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Fukuoka Rizing. They maintain second place with 30-4 record behind leader Kanazawa Sam. Tokyo Cinq R. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 21 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will face Saitama Broncos (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tokyo Cinq R.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Tokyo HT.
