Regular Season Round 26: Gravelines - Le Mans 75-72

Eleventh-ranked Le Mans (11-15) was very close to win a game against seventh ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (15-11). Gravelines-Dunkerque managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Le Mans won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import forward Richard Solomon (208-92, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Canadian guard Olivier Hanlan (193-93, college: Boston Coll.) produced 16 points and 5 assists and American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Gravelines-Dunkerque maintains seventh position with 15-11 record. Le Mans at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque's next round opponent will be higher ranked Paris-Levallois (#6) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Le Mans will play against Hyeres-Toulon (#14) and hope to win that game.
