Top ranked Eskilstuna (15-3) recorded its third loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Helsingborg (12-7) 95-77. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Eskilstuna. The game was mostly controlled by Helsingborg. Eskilstuna was better in fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Helsingborg forced 24 Eskilstuna turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for Danish guard Mads Rasmussen (198-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Anton Persson (180-97) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Helsingborg players scored in double figures. Cameroonian forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 20 rebounds and guard Hannes Widell (183-94) added 23 points and 4 assists in the effort for Eskilstuna. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Helsingborg have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position in BEHS forts with 12-7 record having just one point less than leader IK Eos. Eskilstuna at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost.
