Eredivisie top team - Groningen (26-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Rotterdam (12-16) 102-66. The game without a history. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Rotterdam's 38. Groningen forced 23 Rotterdam turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Rotterdam's players. American forward Chase Fieler (203-92, college: FGCU) fired 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Croatian power forward Drago Pasalic (208-84, agency: Court Side) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Groningen players scored in double figures. Forward Michael Kok (190-91) produced 14 points and 4 assists and American guard Jermaine Marshall (193-90, college: Arizona St.) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
