Regular Season Round 25: Rahoveci - Trepca 76-78

Sixth-ranked Rahoveci (9-14) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Trepca (17-8) on Saturday. The visitors from Mitrovice managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rahoveci. Trepca forced 23 Rahoveci turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Rahoveci helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Power forward Besnik Azemi (200-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. American center Ronald Farmer-Blanchard (208-91, college: Wash.Adventist) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and forward Artin Gashi (203-93) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Rahoveci players scored in double figures. Trepca maintains fourth place with 17-8 record. Newly promoted Rahoveci keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. Trepca are looking forward to face league's second-placed Bashkimi in Prizren in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rahoveci will play on the road against Peja (#3) in Peje and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
