Regular Season Round 52: Chiba Jets - Tochigi Brex 92-80

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Tochigi Brex (40-10) on the court of third ranked Chiba Jets on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Chiba Jets 92-80. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Tochigi Brex. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of Tyler Stone (203-91, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Diamond Sports) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and center Hilton Armstrong (210-84, college: Connecticut) who added 14 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Jeffrey Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chiba Jets maintains third position with 35-15 record having nine points less than leader Tochigi Brex. Tochigi Brex at the other side still keeps top place with ten games lost. They share the position with SeaHorses. Chiba Jets are again looking forward to face league's leader Tochigi Brex at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tochigi Brex will have a break next round.
