Regular Season Round 25: CFBB - Limoges 66-61

Bottom-ranked CFBB managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses. This time they won against eleventh-ranked Limoges in Paris 66-61. Limoges was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 18-6 charge of CFBB, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Limoges to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Swingman Tima Pouye (176-99) nailed 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and guard Kenza Salgues (174-0) accounted for 20 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!). U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Elise Cammas (178-97) added 17 points respectively for Limoges in the defeat. Four Limoges players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. CFBB maintains fourteenth place with 5-20 record. Limoges at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. CFBB will play against higher ranked Roannais (#13) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Limoges will play against Aulnoye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
