The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked Kronos AD's (3-18) road loss to tenth ranked Aris Thessal. (6-15) 65-75. Aris Thessal. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kronos AD's 34. They outrebounded Kronos AD 50-26 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Brittni Montgomery (190-92, college: Cent.Florida) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. American-Guyanese guard Miriam McKenzie (177-90, college: Loyola, MD) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Australian forward Alex Sheedy (185-92, college: Fresno St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and Sofia Kyriakopoulou added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kronos AD. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Aris Thessal. maintains tenth place with 6-15 record. Kronos AD lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Aris Thessal.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked Niki Lefkadas (#6) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kronos AD will play against Panathlitikos (#7) and hope to win that game.
