Regular Season Round 21: PAOK - Panathinaikos 55-50

The game between third ranked Panathinaikos (13-8) and eighth ranked PAOK (11-10) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Panathinaikos was defeated by PAOK in a tough game in Thessaloniki 50-55. American forward Korinne Campbell (184-88, college: W.Virginia) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Lolita Lymoura (180-85) chipped in 7 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American center Shamela Hampton (191-87, college: UNLV) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds and naturalized American guard Niki Avery (168-86, college: E.Kentucky, agency: Interperformances) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. PAOK moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Panathlitikos. Panathinaikos at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Dafni Agioy. PAOK is looking forward to face Panionios (#9) in Athens in the next round. Panathinaikos will play at home against Terpsithea (#12) and is hoping to win this game.
