No shocking result in a game when second ranked Dragonflies (41-11) crushed 6th ranked Kagoshima (7-45) in Hiroshima 93-74 on Sunday. Dragonflies dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Kagoshima's 52. They outrebounded Kagoshima 36-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Senegalese center Aziz NDiaye (213-88, college: Washington, agency: Babcock Sports) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona, agency: Babcock Sports) contributed with 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Bikramjit Gill (201-92, college: Ball St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Kazuto Sameshima (171-92) added 10 points in the effort for Kagoshima. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 41-11 record having just four point less than leader Shimane SM. Loser Kagoshima keeps the sixth place with 45 games lost. Dragonflies will face Orange Vikings (#4) in Matsuyama in the next round. Kagoshima will play on the road against the league's leader Shimane Magic and hope to win that game.
