Regular Season Round 27: Szczecin - Krosno 105-78

There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Wilki Morskie (14-14) crushed 10th ranked Krosno (15-14) in Szczecin 105-78. Wilki Morskie made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Wilki Morskie players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Guinean-American guard Russell Robinson (185-86) who scored 35 points (!!!). The former international point guard Robert Skibniewski (182-83) chipped in 26 points and 9 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Kareem Maddox (202-89, college: Princeton) who recorded 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Royce Woolridge (190-92, college: Grand Canyon) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wilki Morskie maintains twelfth place with 14-14 record. Krosno at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Wilki Morskie's next round opponent will be higher ranked Energa Czarni (#7) in Slupsk and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
