Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Reggio Emilia (14-15) won against on the road 13th ranked Sestu (9-20) 83-67 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Reggio Emilia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Swingman Gioacchino Chiappelli (195-91, agency: Octagon Europe) fired 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Massimo Farioli (202-77, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Dario Scodavolpe (193-83) produced 16 points and Giuliano Samoggia (200-83) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sestu's coach Marco Sassaro tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Reggio Emilia have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Reggio Emilia maintains eighth position in B with 14-15 record. Sestu lost third consecutive game. Sestu at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 20 games lost. Reggio Emilia will face league's leader Orzinuovi GaGa at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sestu will play against Piacenza (#3) and hope to win that game.
