Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Vanoli Cremona (7-19) lost at home to twelfth ranked Brescia (12-14) 86-80. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Vanoli Cremona won third quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Brescia won last quarter 29-24. The best player for the winners was international point guard Luca Vitali (201-86) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Darius Johnson-Odom (187-89, college: Marquette, agency: BeoBasket) produced 18 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Tashawn Thomas (203-93, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Vanoli Cremona players scored in double figures. Brescia moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Enel Brindisi and Auxilium TO. Vanoli Cremona at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 19 games lost. Brescia's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Umana Venezia at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
