We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Lecco (17-11) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Faenza (17-11) 72-56 on Sunday. Forward Jacopo Silimbani (202-86, agency: Interperformances) fired 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Alessio Donadoni (194-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Faenza's coach Marco Regazzi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Davide Todeschini (190-93) produced 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and power forward Jacopo Balanzoni (203-93, agency: Interperformances) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Faenza moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with defeated Lecco. Faenza will face Volpino AltoSeb. (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
